FAQ

Intrinsically safe (intrinsically safe) explosion-proof ensures that short circuit / sparks do not ignite explosive gases in explosive environments (e.g., oil and gas, chemical workshops) by limiting circuit energy (e.g., voltage, current), in accordance with GB 3836.4. Fanless and low power consumption (<5W for the whole machine), it is suitable for petrol dispensers, reactors and other strong explosion risk scenarios, replacing the safety hazards of traditional non-explosion-proof gateways.

Support 24V DC wide-voltage input of the central control panel, built-in anti-surge (6kV), ESD (±15kV), anti-reverse connection protection, 2-level thyristor overload protection, to adapt to industrial site voltage fluctuations of ±30% (e.g., 24V system down to 16V is still working stably), to avoid the voltage surge burned equipment.

Single WiFi disconnection is often caused by equipment blockage and electromagnetic interference in industrial sites. Connect 2 routers (e.g. master and backup AP) at the same time, monitor the link quality in real time, and switch over automatically within 50ms in case of disconnection to ensure continuous uploading of PLC and sensor data (measured disconnection and reconnection time is less than 300ms of traditional single-connection gateways).

The IO board is separated from the central control board, supporting customised expansion (e.g. 8-way DI/DO, 4-20mA acquisition), connecting to field devices (e.g. regulating valves, flowmeters) via explosion-proof cables, reducing the complexity of wiring in the explosion-proof box.The IO board is powered by the central control board, avoiding the risk of sparks introduced by the external power supply.

Zigbee, LoRa and other modules can be added, compatible with underground positioning tags, smart meters and other equipment, for example: expanding Zigbee to connect roof pressure sensors in coal mines without the need to add a new gateway, reducing the cost of explosion-proof transformation.

A35 quad-core processor (1.3GHz) balances computing power and power consumption to meet the Modbus, MQTT protocol resolution (measured concurrently with 200 devices without lag), while reducing heat (<35 ℃ shell temperature), in line with the intrinsically safe equipment, ‘low-power non-sparking’ requirements (high-performance chips may require fan cooling, increasing the complexity of explosion-proof design).
